George Bekris specializes in Sailing, Yacht Racing and Event Photography.
Based on the beautiful New England shoreline, George is an experienced photographer and sailor. He loves the beauty, grace and the excitement that sailing has to offer. He also understands the teamwork, training and the inherent dangers involved in breaking world records and winning major regattas and tries to capture those moments in his photographic images.
He has captured images of many the world's cutting edge and record breaking sailing yachts, their skippers and crews, the luxurious and impressive superyachts and the always beautiful classic yachts.
Music , concert and event photography is another field of photography that George specializes in. A music fan since the early 1960's he has captured most of his favorite musicians performing live on stage. As an event photographer he has captured everything from Miss America to the many automotive Concours d' Elegance events and most everything in between.
He is the staff photographer for Challenge and Adventure and New England Rock Review.
George is also a Getty Images Contributor.
